Amir Cartwright, an eighth-grade student from Baltimore, MD, is an exceptional multi-sport athlete and a leader both on and off the field. A member of the Maryland Blaze Track Club for three years, Amir competes in throws, bringing the same discipline and determination that have defined his success in other sports. He has wrestled since the age of 7 with the Outsiders Wrestling Club, earning AAU All-American status and achieving the prestigious 2023 triple crown as a state champion in folkstyle, freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling. On the football field, Amir is a versatile leader for the Parkville Patriots, excelling as an elite DT/OT and helping his team achieve an undefeated championship season in 2023. Beyond sports, Amir enjoys outdoor adventures, reading, gaming, and spending time with his family. His favorite color is gold, and he loves mac & cheese, chocolate milk, and graham crackers with milk. Amir values the strong family atmosphere at Maryland Blaze, appreciating their balance of discipline, fun, and a focus on athlete success.

Aria "Goose" Rawls, a fourth-grade student excelling in her school's Gifted and Talented Program at a Magnet school, is a talented second-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club. Aria competes in sprints and brings her dedication from a variety of activities, including basketball, softball, gymnastics, and playing the guitar. A proud Girl Scout, Aria values teamwork and hard work, noting how Maryland Blaze’s excellent coaching helps athletes reach important milestones such as Regionals, National Championships, and the Junior Olympics. Her favorite color is turquoise, and she enjoys mac and cheese, Sprite, and Takis. Aria wholeheartedly recommends Maryland Blaze for anyone seeking a supportive and successful track team.

Asa "Ace" Payne, an eighth-grade athlete from Baltimore, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, where he competes in middle-distance events. A multi-talented individual, Asa is also passionate about soccer, basketball, digital art, and photography. His favorite colors are black, gold, and red, and he loves crabs, ribs, cream soda, and Cheetos. Asaiah "Saiah" Gee, a third-grade honor student attending a private Christian Academy in Maryland, is in his third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club. Asaiah competes in sprints and embodies the team’s focus on enhancing abilities and building character within a supportive, family-oriented atmosphere. Outside of track, he enjoys going to church, playing league basketball, riding his electric dirt bike, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with his family. Asaiah’s favorite color is blue, and he loves pasta, juice, and vanilla ice cream. His dedication both on and off the track makes him a valued member of the Maryland Blaze team.

Asaiah "Saiah" Payne is a 5th grader from Baltimore who runs middle distance for Maryland Blaze. He loves playing video games, reading, and challenging himself to be his best. His favorite color is gold, and he’s all about pizza, root beer floats, and honey buns. What he loves most about Maryland Blaze is how supportive the coaches and teammates are—and how the coaches always push everyone to do their best.
Asher Hyman

Asher "Doodle" or "Flash" Hyman, a first-grade athlete from Baltimore, MD, is making an impressive debut in his first year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club. A versatile competitor, Asher participates in middle-distance, long-distance, jumps, and throws. He is already a standout, having held the #1 spot in cross country for the USA. Outside of track, Asher enjoys baseball, soccer, basketball, and cross country. His favorite color is Zion Blue, and he loves crabs, Sprite, and saltine crackers. Asher’s favorite parts of being with Maryland Blaze are stretching and racing, where he brings enthusiasm and energy to every practice and event.

Outside of track, Aubree enjoys puzzles, Legos, and playing Roblox. Her favorite color is pink, and she loves mac & cheese, Sprite, and cheese curls. Aubree appreciates the coaches at Maryland Blaze and values the team’s organized and supportive environment, which helps her thrive both on and off the track.

Avery J., an accomplished eighth-grade athlete, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, where he competes in sprints. Avery’s impressive track record includes being named the 2024 MD AAU Outstanding Athlete, earning a silver medal at the 2024 Junior Olympics in the 13U Boys division, and achieving AAU All-American status five times across events such as the 60m, 100m, 200m, and 4x400 relay. He values the encouragement from Maryland Blaze coaches, who consistently push athletes to reach their full potential.

Cameron “Cam” Beale is a proud American and Trinidadian athlete from Perry Hall in Baltimore County. A straight-A student in the 4th grade, Cam has a deep passion for sports—whether he’s playing club soccer with the Baltimore Union, practicing basketball, or following sports documentaries and podcasts. As an AAU District Champion in the shotput, he shines in both sprints and throws for the Maryland Blaze Track Club. Outside of competition, Cam’s favorite color is teal and he can’t resist bacon, Sprite, and soft pretzels. He loves traveling to meets in different states, always eager to compete and improve in every event.

An all-star football player and national track runner, Charles brings a competitive spirit to every event. Declan is a well-rounded individual, serving as the Historian/Public Relations Officer for his school’s National Junior Honor Society and performing as a drummer in the All County Honors Band. He also excels as a performance racer and CIT with the Havre de Grace Youth Sailing Program. Declan’s favorite colors are orange and purple, and he enjoys smoked BBQ ribs, Italian food, root beer, and popcorn. A sixth grader with a 3.65 GPA, he plays soccer, performs on the clarinet, and excels in science—recently achieving distinguished honor roll in his first quarter of sixth grade. Tré has been with Maryland Blaze for three years, focusing on sprints and jumps. He enjoys the camaraderie among teammates, pushing each other to excel, and appreciates the coaches’ support. His favorite color is green, and he’s a big fan of Chick-fil-A, Sprite, water, and Lenny & Larry cookies.

A standout athlete and scholar, Zachary received the 7th Grade Leadership Award and is passionate about basketball. His favorite color is orange, and he loves pizza, Sprite, Goldfish, and popcorn. Zachary values the friendships he has built through Maryland Blaze and the sense of community within the team.

Of Haitian and American heritage, Zody enjoys soccer, lacrosse, football, and chess. His favorite colors are orange, gray, black, and white, and he loves buffalo wings, Sprite, and Cheez-Its.
