Amir Cartwright
Amir Cartwright, an eighth-grade student from Baltimore, MD, is an exceptional multi-sport athlete and a leader both on and off the field. A member of the Maryland Blaze Track Club for three years, Amir competes in throws, bringing the same discipline and determination that have defined his success in other sports. He has wrestled since the age of 7 with the Outsiders Wrestling Club, earning AAU All-American status and achieving the prestigious 2023 triple crown as a state champion in folkstyle, freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling. On the football field, Amir is a versatile leader for the Parkville Patriots, excelling as an elite DT/OT and helping his team achieve an undefeated championship season in 2023. Beyond sports, Amir enjoys outdoor adventures, reading, gaming, and spending time with his family. His favorite color is gold, and he loves mac & cheese, chocolate milk, and graham crackers with milk. Amir values the strong family atmosphere at Maryland Blaze, appreciating their balance of discipline, fun, and a focus on athlete success.
Anna Stephenson
Anna Stephenson, a first-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competes in sprints and is already embracing the team’s family-oriented atmosphere. Known for her enthusiasm and determination, Anna is excited to begin her journey with the Blaze, where she values the supportive and connected environment that helps athletes thrive both on and off the track.
Aria Rawls
Aria "Goose" Rawls, a fourth-grade student excelling in her school's Gifted and Talented Program at a Magnet school, is a talented second-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club. Aria competes in sprints and brings her dedication from a variety of activities, including basketball, softball, gymnastics, and playing the guitar. A proud Girl Scout, Aria values teamwork and hard work, noting how Maryland Blaze’s excellent coaching helps athletes reach important milestones such as Regionals, National Championships, and the Junior Olympics. Her favorite color is turquoise, and she enjoys mac and cheese, Sprite, and Takis. Aria wholeheartedly recommends Maryland Blaze for anyone seeking a supportive and successful track team.
Asa Payne
Asa "Ace" Payne, an eighth-grade athlete from Baltimore, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, where he competes in middle-distance events. A multi-talented individual, Asa is also passionate about soccer, basketball, digital art, and photography. His favorite colors are black, gold, and red, and he loves crabs, ribs, cream soda, and Cheetos. Asa values the camaraderie within Maryland Blaze, appreciating how athletes build friendships and support one another, making the team a welcoming and connected community.
Asaiah Gee
Asaiah "Saiah" Gee, a third-grade honor student attending a private Christian Academy in Maryland, is in his third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club. Asaiah competes in sprints and embodies the team’s focus on enhancing abilities and building character within a supportive, family-oriented atmosphere. Outside of track, he enjoys going to church, playing league basketball, riding his electric dirt bike, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with his family. Asaiah’s favorite color is blue, and he loves pasta, juice, and vanilla ice cream. His dedication both on and off the track makes him a valued member of the Maryland Blaze team.
Asaiah Payne
Asaiah "Saiah" Payne is a 5th grader from Baltimore who runs middle distance for Maryland Blaze. He loves playing video games, reading, and challenging himself to be his best. His favorite color is gold, and he’s all about pizza, root beer floats, and honey buns. What he loves most about Maryland Blaze is how supportive the coaches and teammates are—and how the coaches always push everyone to do their best.
Asher Hyman
Asher "Doodle" or "Flash" Hyman, a first-grade athlete from Baltimore, MD, is making an impressive debut in his first year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club. A versatile competitor, Asher participates in middle-distance, long-distance, jumps, and throws. He is already a standout, having held the #1 spot in cross country for the USA. Outside of track, Asher enjoys baseball, soccer, basketball, and cross country. His favorite color is Zion Blue, and he loves crabs, Sprite, and saltine crackers. Asher’s favorite parts of being with Maryland Blaze are stretching and racing, where he brings enthusiasm and energy to every practice and event.

Aubree Phillips
Aubree Phillips, a third-grade athlete from Baltimore County, is in her second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in multi-events. Outside of track, Aubree enjoys puzzles, Legos, and playing Roblox. Her favorite color is pink, and she loves mac & cheese, Sprite, and cheese curls. Aubree appreciates the coaches at Maryland Blaze and values the team’s organized and supportive environment, which helps her thrive both on and off the track.
Avery JEANNOT
Avery J., an accomplished eighth-grade athlete, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, where he competes in sprints. Avery’s impressive track record includes being named the 2024 MD AAU Outstanding Athlete, earning a silver medal at the 2024 Junior Olympics in the 13U Boys division, and achieving AAU All-American status five times across events such as the 60m, 100m, 200m, and 4x400 relay. He values the encouragement from Maryland Blaze coaches, who consistently push athletes to reach their full potential.
Breanna moorman
Breanna "Peanut" Moorman, a sixth-grade athlete from Essex, Baltimore County, is in her third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club. Competing in sprints and throws, Breanna brings dedication and enthusiasm to the team. Outside of track, she enjoys playing lacrosse, showcasing her athletic versatility. Her favorite color is blue, and she continues to grow as an integral part of the Maryland Blaze family.
Cai Cray
Cai Cray, a fifth-grader from Baltimore County, is a first-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints, middle-distance events, and jumps. A creative and curious honor roll student, Cai enjoys building Legos, robots, and various projects that fuel his passion for STEM, engineering, reptiles, and WWE. His favorite colors are blue and orange, and he loves salmon. Cai appreciates the diverse team environment, the supportive coaching, and the opportunities to develop his skills as part of Maryland Blaze.
Camden Barnes
Camden "Cam" Barnes, a fourth-grader from Baltimore County, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in middle-distance and long-distance events. Outside of track, Cam enjoys golf, hunting, and fishing. His favorite colors are army green and black, and he loves steak, cranberry ginger ale, and Chex Mix. Cam appreciates the encouraging coaches and teammates at Maryland Blaze who foster a supportive and motivating environment.
Cameron Beale
Cameron “Cam” Beale is a proud American and Trinidadian athlete from Perry Hall in Baltimore County. A straight-A student in the 4th grade, Cam has a deep passion for sports—whether he’s playing club soccer with the Baltimore Union, practicing basketball, or following sports documentaries and podcasts. As an AAU District Champion in the shotput, he shines in both sprints and throws for the Maryland Blaze Track Club. Outside of competition, Cam’s favorite color is teal and he can’t resist bacon, Sprite, and soft pretzels. He loves traveling to meets in different states, always eager to compete and improve in every event.
Charles Culver IV
Charles "Cash" Culver 4th, an eighth-grader from Elkton, is a first-year member of the Maryland Blaze Track Club, where he competes in sprints, middle-distance, and long-distance events. An all-star football player and national track runner, Charles brings a competitive spirit to every event. His favorite colors are pink and black, and he enjoys Indian food, Sprite, and Welch’s gummies. Charles appreciates the team's organization and its focus on achieving competitive goals
Colin Ey
Colin Ey, a third-grader from Perry Hall, Baltimore County, is in his third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in middle-distance and long-distance events. Outside of track, Colin enjoys basketball and art. His favorite color is green, and he loves chicken nuggets, apple juice, and Doritos. Colin cherishes the supportive coaches and the friendships he has built with teammates, making training both fun and rewarding.
Declan Carter
Declan Carter, an eighth-grader from Havre de Grace, MD, is in his third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in middle-distance and long-distance events. Declan is a well-rounded individual, serving as the Historian/Public Relations Officer for his school’s National Junior Honor Society and performing as a drummer in the All County Honors Band. He also excels as a performance racer and CIT with the Havre de Grace Youth Sailing Program. Declan’s favorite colors are orange and purple, and he enjoys smoked BBQ ribs, Italian food, root beer, and popcorn. He values the supportive atmosphere created by coaches, teammates, friends, and families at Maryland Blaze.
Deon Beasley, Jr
Deon Beasley Jr., a fifth-grader from Columbia, MD, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in long-distance events and jumps. Deon is also passionate about football and enjoys his favorite colors, blue and black, as well as pizza, Prime, and cake. He values the camaraderie of running with his friends and the connections he’s built with teammates.
Eladio Williams
Eladio "Eli" Williams, a seventh-grader from Havre de Grace, MD, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints and middle-distance events. A passionate athlete, Eli also plays football and basketball. Outside of sports, he enjoys spending time with his family and gaming with friends. His favorite colors are black and grey, and he loves tacos, root beer, Takis, and pecan swirls. Eli thrives in the team's competitive atmosphere and appreciates how Coach Zig’s belief in him motivates him to be the best version of himself.
Elise Rickenback
Elise Rickenback, a third-grader from Parkville, MD, is in her second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in middle-distance events and throws. Elise is also active in choir, lacrosse, and field hockey. Her favorite color is blue, and she enjoys tacos, Prime, Reese’s Cups, and M&Ms. Elise loves running fast, traveling for meets, and exploring new places with her friends.

Emily "Em" Nachman, a sixth-grader from Perry Hall, Baltimore County, is in her second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in middle-distance and long-distance events. Outside of track, Emily is a talented gymnast and pianist with a love for food, including escargot and macarons. Her favorite color is blue, and she enjoys water, milkshakes, and Tajín pistachios. Emily values the friendships she’s built on the team and enjoys running and traveling with her teammates.

Gavin Cunningham
Gavin Cunningham, a fifth-grader from Baltimore County, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints, middle-distance events, and throws. Outside of track, Gavin plays flag football and enjoys his favorite color, purple, along with spaghetti, fruit punch, and fruit snacks. He appreciates the coaching at Maryland Blaze, which focuses on helping athletes improve and become their best. Gavin has also enjoyed making many friends on the team.
George Shaffer
George Shaffer, an eighth-grader from Lutherville, MD, is in his third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in long-distance events. A dedicated athlete, George has participated in the Junior Olympics and enjoys going to the gym. His favorite color is light blue, and he loves Panda Express orange chicken, Fanta, and Reese’s. George values how Maryland Blaze helps him stay ahead of the competition through focused training and dedication.

Kayden "Kay Kay" Worrell, a sixth-grader from Essex, Baltimore, is in his third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints, middle-distance events, and jumps. Outside of track, Kayden is an avid football and basketball player who enjoys gaming. His favorite colors are black, white, gold, and red, and he loves cranberry grape juice, Oreos, Nerds, Juicefuls, and gummy bears. Kayden values making friends, participating in practices, competing, and volunteering with Maryland Blaze.

Kehlani "Lani" Mitchell-Lee, a second-grader from Baltimore, MD, is a first-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints and jumps. Of Haitian and Bermudian descent, Kelis enjoys drawing in her free time. Her favorite color is pink, and she loves McDonald’s, root beer, and ice cream. Kendal is an honor roll student with a passion for crafting, cheerleading, and dancing. Of American, Trinidadian, and Jamaican heritage, her favorite colors are pink and teal, and she loves Chipotle, Shirley Temples, and Goldfish crackers. Khalil Robinson
Khalil Robinson, a seventh-grader from Aberdeen, MD, is a first-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in long-distance events and jumps. A multi-sport athlete, Khalil is passionate about football, basketball, and swimming, and was recently named MVP for his football team, the Aberdeen Bulldogs. Outside of sports, he enjoys gaming, tech, and art. His favorite colors are black and blue, and he loves hamburgers, water, and fruit snacks. Khalil appreciates the supportive coaching staff at Maryland Blaze and looks forward to improving his speed, agility, and running form.

Layla Beale
Layla "Lay" Beale, a second-grader from Perry Hall, Baltimore County, is in her third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints, middle-distance events, and jumps. Layla also plays soccer for the Baltimore Union 17 Elite team, is an artist who loves drawing and painting, and adores animals like giraffes, elephants, and pandas. A 5-time All-American in events like cross country, 200m, 400m, and long jump, Layla’s favorite color is purple, and she loves spaghetti, lemonade, and Goldfish crackers. She appreciates meeting like-minded girls who love to compete, traveling for meets, and working hard to achieve greatness with Maryland Blaze.

Lia Allen, a seventh-grader from Pikesville, MD, is a first-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints and throws. Lilian "Lily" Barnes, a third-grader from Baltimore County, is a first-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in middle-distance and long-distance events. Outside of track, Lily is a swimmer who enjoys collecting Squishmallows and sewing. Her favorite colors are pink, purple, and teal, and she loves shrimp and crab cakes, Sprite, and potato chips. Madelyn Godack
Madelyn "Mady" Rose Godack, a seventh-grader from Middle River, Baltimore County, is in her third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in middle-distance events, long-distance events, and jumps. Of Jamaican, Indian, Polish, and American heritage, Mady excels in writing, painting, photography, and building with Legos. Her favorite color is purple, and she enjoys curry chicken, rice and peas, steamed cabbage, dumplings, Dr. Pepper, and cookies. Mady appreciates the trusting relationships and motivation provided by her coaches, who respect her opinions and help her succeed.
Malajza Boone
Malajza "Lay Lay" Boone, a sixth-grader from Baltimore, MD, is in her second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in middle-distance events and jumps. An honor roll student with a 4.2 GPA, Malajza’s favorite color is sage green, and she loves macaroni and cheese, Champagne Kola, Starry, Twizzlers, and Skittles. Marley “Mar Mar” Benoit (he/him) is a proud Haitian American from Nottingham, Baltimore County. A seventh grader with a passion for soccer, lacrosse, football, gaming, and chess, Marley has been a dedicated member of Maryland Blaze for three years, focusing on sprints and jumps. He loves the team’s supportive spirit, the opportunity to travel, and all the fun activities they share together. Off the track, Marley’s favorites include red and black, wings, Sprite, and Starburst.
Mekhi Smith
Mekhi "Boobie" Smith, a fourth-grader from Baltimore, MD, is in his third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints. Outside of track, Mekhi enjoys football, basketball, bike riding, and video games. His favorite colors are blue and red, and he enjoys orange soda and baked goods. Mekhi appreciates the practices at Maryland Blaze, which help him grow as an athlete.

Miley Munoz-Martinez, a seventh-grader from Parkville, MD, is in her third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints, middle-distance, and long-distance events. Myah Djiogo, a third-grader from Overlea, Baltimore County, is a first-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing as a sprinter. Of American and Cameroonian heritage, Myah also plays club soccer and enjoys crocheting, playing the piano, reading, writing, drawing, and learning about history. Her favorite colors are silver and white, and she loves fried plantain and chicken, root beer, Fanta, and animal crackers. Myah enjoys the stretching exercises and the excitement of track meets with Maryland Blaze.

Natalie S. Whiting
Natalie "Nat" Whiting, a fourth-grader from Cockeysville, MD, is in her third year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints and jumps. Of mixed heritage, Natalie enjoys basketball, soccer, and rock climbing. Her favorite colors are navy blue, light pink, and rose gold, and she loves steak, Sprite, and gummy bears. Natalie values the freedom to be herself and the opportunity to build lasting friendships. She enjoys traveling with the team, which feels like mini-vacations with friends.

Noel Mahaley, a first-grader from Perry Hall, Baltimore County, is in his first year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing as a sprinter. Peyton "Double P" Powell, a fifth-grader from Baltimore, MD, is a first-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing as a sprinter. Peyton is a multi-sport athlete who plays golf, baseball, and football. He is also part of the Johns Hopkins STEM program. His favorite color is blue, and he enjoys pizza, chips, and candy. Peyton values the discipline, structure, and accountability provided by the coaches, who work hard with every athlete to help them succeed.

Robert "Rew" Warner, a seventh-grader from Parkville, MD, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in middle-distance and long-distance events. Robert is passionate about basketball and enjoys making others laugh as an aspiring comedian. Known for his creative armpit farting talent, Robert’s favorite color is green, and he loves pizza, Pepsi, microwave popcorn, and apples with peanut butter. He loves the thrill of cross-country meets and is always relieved when core exercises are over!

Somkene "Somkay" Adogu, a third-grader from White Marsh, Baltimore, is a first-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing as a sprinter. Of American and Nigerian heritage, Somkay enjoys playing games and his favorite color is blue. He loves rice with stew and potato or plantain chips. Tristan "Tris" or "TK" Murphy, a third-grader from Baltimore, MD, is a first-year athlete with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing as a sprinter. Tristan is also passionate about football and baseball. His favorite color is blue, and he enjoys pizza, water, Minute Maid juice, and oranges. Tristan appreciates the team’s organization and is excited to grow and learn as part of Maryland Blaze.
WILLIAM TOSE III
William “Tré” Tosé III is a dedicated scholar athlete from Harford County. A sixth grader with a 3.65 GPA, he plays soccer, performs on the clarinet, and excels in science—recently achieving distinguished honor roll in his first quarter of sixth grade. Tré has been with Maryland Blaze for three years, focusing on sprints and jumps. He enjoys the camaraderie among teammates, pushing each other to excel, and appreciates the coaches’ support. His favorite color is green, and he’s a big fan of Chick-fil-A, Sprite, water, and Lenny & Larry cookies.
Xavier Smith
Xavier "Xay Xay" Smith, a third-grader from Baltimore, MD, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints. Zachary "Zach" Ervin, an eighth-grader from Baltimore, MD, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in middle-distance events. A standout athlete and scholar, Zachary received the 7th Grade Leadership Award and is passionate about basketball. His favorite color is orange, and he loves pizza, Sprite, Goldfish, and popcorn. Zachary values the friendships he has built through Maryland Blaze and the sense of community within the team.
Zody Benoit
Zody "Zo" Mikail Benoit, a fifth-grader from Nottingham, Baltimore County, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in middle-distance events. Of Haitian and American heritage, Zody enjoys soccer, lacrosse, football, and chess. His favorite colors are orange, gray, black, and white, and he loves buffalo wings, Sprite, and Cheez-Its. Zody values the camaraderie of teammates, the dedication of the coaches, and the quality of training he receives at Maryland Blaze.
Zyler Goffe
Zyler Goffe, a second-grader from Nottingham, MD, is in his second year with the Maryland Blaze Track Club, competing in sprints. Zyler also plays football and enjoys his favorite color, blue, as well as spaghetti, fruit punch, and Dynamite Doritos. He values the opportunity to meet and talk to new people through the Maryland Blaze team.
